Day 2: Rest day

Welcome

Yesterday we travelled back to Auckland for a well earned rest day.

Anthony and I started our day nice and early with a walk down to the beach where we enjoyed a warm beverage and a gorgeous sunrise.

We then returned to our accommodation and relaxed in the jacuzzi until the rest of the team awoke and we all headed off to Raglan Roast for breakfast. I ordered a Breakfast Roll Deluxe.

Jono took the wheel for the drive home and we only stopped for a brief visit to Rangiriri Pies.

Back in Auckland there was only one challenge remaining for us to successfully complete our day.

With some expert guidance from driving expert Tristan Deck I was able to complete the extremely difficult task of reversing Vangelis down my driveway.
