Day 5 San Luis Obispo CA
Welcome
Yesterday was a rest/travel day, spent in the town of San Luis Obispo in the central coast of California.
We awoke in the car park of an Embassy Suites by Hilton, next to a field with a displaced house and barn.
Breakfast was achieved by heading to the Sprouts Farmers Market at the other end of the carpark and ordering a ‘Boar’s Head Roast Cheese and Cheddar’.
The majority of the day was spent on admin and other tasks like bridge research but just before sunset Tristan and I went for a run around Laguna Lake Park.
After dinner it was Liz’s turn to warm us up before the movie viewing so she provided a tour of her Animal Crossing room ‘Jon’s recording studio’.
Our viewing of Some Kind of Monster continued and this time we made it to the end. I learned that even in the most trying circumstances friendship can triumph over adversity. Liz didn’t know anything about Metallica going in and after watching has decided that they are ‘alright’.
This week on Airpods Max Detected we had several intercepts in a short space of time just outside of Santa Cruz.
Today’s worgle is a fun one so just try and enjoy yourself a bit and don’t worry about winning!
Today we continue our bus tour with Cockpit Cupboard 1, located above and to the right of the driver’s seat.
