Day 6: Washington DC

Yesterday we drove five hours down the I-95 to the nation's great capital Washington DC.

We had a fairly late start and then took our time getting breakfast at an excellent deli in Brooklyn. I had a superb cream cheese and scallion bagel.

The highlight of our drive was getting pulled over for speeding by a New Jersey state trooper.

We played at a venue called Union Stage located in Southwest DC, to an enthusiastic crowd of around 450.

Beth of the day goes to Ben. It was a tough call because everyone had a pretty mediocre day but Ben pulled ahead in the end after he brushed snow off of the van, sorted out all the merch at the venue and took the bedding off of Tristan's bed when we checked out of our air bnb.
