Day 4: Boston
Welcome
Yesterday we drove south from Montreal through Vermont and New Hampshire before arriving in Boston.
For breakfast I had a cream cheese and jam bagel and a boiled egg.
After breakfast we drove out of Montreal and across the border into the state of Vermont. Our border crossing went unnervingly smoothly, and they didn't even charge us tax on our merch. The drive was fairly uneventful and we arrived in Boston ahead of schedule and went straight into soundcheck.
We played a sold out show at the Brighton Music Hall - a 500 capacity venue located close to Packard's corner in central Boston. Liz invited her friend bestselling author Atul Gawande and they apparently had a very engaging conversation.
Beth of the day went to Jonathan for doing the washing, smooth-talking us across the border, and doing a superb driving job both on the way out of Montreal and on the way into Boston.
