Day 21: Stockholm
Welcome
We left at 8am this morning for the seven hour drive up to Stockholm.
Yesterday we performed at the Vega, a beautiful theatre and showcase of modernistic architecture built in 1956. The gig was fantastic and Deathcab have agreed to have an inter-band marriage and move to New Zealand with us.
This morning we started our drive by passing through the 4km Drodgen tunnel out to the artificial island of Pemberholm in the middle of the Øresund strait. We then continued onto the Øresund bridge - an 8km cable stayed bridge that runs all the rest of the way to Malmö.
Today for breakfast I had scrambled eggs on toast.
