Day 9: Bristol
Welcome
We arrived in Bristol a bit early today so I visited the museum ship SS Great Britain.
We played a slick show in Leeds last night. We had dinner at a wonderful Thai restaurant which was a huge relief after Nottingham.
Breakfast today was a pasta salad, and a bean, nut and quinoa salad, both from Mark's and Spencers.
The SS Great Britain was an ironclad passenger steamship designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and completed in 1845. Initially designed for crossing the Atlantic, it saw service carrying immigrants to Australia from 1852 - 1881 before being converted to all-sail and becoming a cargo ship.
