Day 7: Nottingham

Welcome

We arrived in Nottingham late last night and headed straight to bed.

I took a morning walk around the town centre this morning. Highlights were Nottingham Trent University, 11 King Street (The Alchemist) and the hugely underwhelming Nottingham Castle.

Adam and I had breakfast at a cafe called 'Cartwheel'. I ordered beetroot and orange smoked mackerel with carrot and parsnip remoulade on toasted sourdough with poached eggs and garden pesto. The eggs and mackerel were fantastic but unfortunately the remoulade was over-salted.
