Day 18: Strasburg pt 3
Welcome
Yesterday was another rest day in Strasburg.
I started my day with a leftover salad dressed with what seemed like a mustard sauce or a very thick vinaigrette.
As well as being a rest day it was also laundry day and change the sheets day as we had just passed the mid point of the tour.
Yesterday’s highlight was without a doubt seeing Jon setup his bus studio. There comes a point in the creation of every album when you realise that some of the electric guitars that you recorded don’t sound as excellent as you had hoped so you have to set up some amps in the primary lounge of the bus in the carpark of a Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott and re-record the electric guitar parts with the correct tone.
And for some bonus content here are a couple of shots of even more recording going on in the hotel room of a Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott.
I’m lucky enough to have a contribution today from guest automotive editor Tristan Deck who has been hard at work putting this brand new truck through it’s paces.
