Day 11: Pōneke, pt 3
Welcome
Yesterday we did an in-store performance at Rough Peel Music on Cuba Street and played our third and final show at San Fran.
I chose to start my day with the healthy option and enjoyed a bowl of Vogels Cafe-Style Nuts & Seeds Light Muesli topped with some fresh fruit.
After breakfast I went for a run and saw Wellington’s wonderful airport.
And the famous Basin Reserve cricket ground.
We took over Rough Peel Records in the afternoon and played a short and cheerful set to this lovely bunch of Wellingtonians.
Our third show at San Fran fell on a Sunday but that didn’t stop it from being a real ripper. Afterwards I was lucky enough to join Vera and her band at a local watering hole for some socialising which included playing Connect Four and Jenga.
Today’s profile is a very exciting one. This person works around the clock to keep our entire unit running at full capacity and we would grind to a halt without their careful tending and attention.
