Day 25: Travel day
Welcome
Yesterday we flew from Denver to LA where we boarded a flight to Australia for the Splendour in the Grass festival.
I had a repeat of the previous day's breakfast, this time with a cup of off-white fruit instead of porridge.
Tristan and I went for a run at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge - a large site once used for Chemical Weapons manufacturing that is now home to over three hundred animal species.
My bridge of the day is the Ladora Loop Pontoon Bridge - approximately 50 - 150 yards in length and constructed of moulded plastic floats with wooden decking and galvanised steel railings.
In the afternoon we bade goodbye to Hercules and flew aboard a Delta Boeing 717-200 to LA. I scored a point for getting all four of the snack options.
We had a four hour stopover at LAX before boarding a Virgin Australia Boeing 777-300ER for the fifteen hour flight to Melbourne.During the flight I watched Lego Movie 2 and The Highwaymen.
Beth of the day goes to Ben for finding a good run spot and for getting all the snacks. Not very impressive Ben but you slipped across the line.
