Day 12: Paris
Welcome
We left London at 8am this morning to catch the Eurotunnel train to Calais.
Last night we played at the Hammersmith Apollo, a beautiful art deco theatre built in 1932. It was quite an intimidating performance due to it being by far the largest room we've played so far, with a capacity of 5000. I was lucky enough to have my cousin Emma in attendance with her lovely partner Michael Burns.
For breakfast I had three oranges and most of a cucumber.
We caught the Eurotunnel train under the channel this morning and made it to Paris just in time for our soundcheck. It's good to be driving on the wrong side of the road again. I also had my first experience driving in Paris traffic, which was an valuable lesson in both courtesy and lane placement.
