Thursday 24th January 2019 was the day of our first show supporting Deathcab for Cutie.

Liz made a delicious breakfast of fried haloumi on toasted baguette with roasted brussel sprouts, garlic, and tomatoes. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photograph. After breakfast I went and saw St Stephen's Green and then popped in to the Royal Hibernian Academy to check out the Brian Eno exhibition '77 Million Paintings'.

Our first show with 'Deathcab' was at the beautiful Olympia Theatre located on Temple Bar in central Dublin. We arrived at the theatre and met all of the wonderful support crew who helped us through a very pain-free soundcheck. Our first performance went exceptionally well. I made no mistakes and I don't think everyone else made any either.
