Day 27: Byron Bay

Yesterday we played on the Amphitheatre Stage at Splendour In The Grass.

At 11am we played an acoustic set to a small crowd of Contiki tourers at their marquee. Afterwards I had an Avocado, Egg, Lettuce, and Haloumi burger, with a berry smoothie.

Our main performance was at 2.15pm right when the sun was pouring straight in onto the stage so we were lucky enough to witness the rare phenomenon of Liz performing in sunglasses. The show went well and we had the evening free after doing a few hours of media.

Tristan received his free massage which he described as "targeted but tender". I also signed up for a free massage and found it to be a bit soft but quite interesting. We left the festival at 2am to drive back to Brisbane for our flight.

Beth of the day goes to Tristan for beating his pinball high score, finding the sunglasses that he lent to Liz lying in the grass, and driving us to Brisbane at 2am. As usual, you make it look easy. Nice one Tristan.
