Day 16: Columbus

Welcome

Yesterday we had an early start (by musician standards). We drove to Columbus, Ohio, for a morning radio broadcast, and then played a show in the evening.

We drove to Columbus where Todd delivered an exceptional breakfast recommendation which was Katzinger's Delicatessen on the corner of 3rd and Livingston Streets. I had a Reuben sandwich.

We played a good radio session and then had the afternoon off. Tristan and I played cricket while everyone else napped. In the evening we played to a crowd of 200 at Rumba Café. It was a special night for us as this was the first venue we had played outside of the UK that served Guinness Draught.

Our show went really well but the highlight of my night was when someone bought a t-shirt from us and paid with his Apple Watch. 'Apple Watch' is the trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. I discovered today that when using an Apple ('Apple' is the trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries) trademark in a publication outside of the US it is appropriate to use a trademark attribution notice, as seen above. I also found out that their trademarks are adjectives and should not be used in the plural or possessive form.

Correct: I bought two Macintosh computers.

Incorrect: I bought two Macintoshes.

Beth of the day was a tough pick. For most of the day Ben and Tristan were neck and neck. They both loaded the van after the radio session and they both drank four coffees. Tristan necked four tacos against Ben's three at dinner and pulled ahead, taking the win just when no one thought it was possible.

Impressive stuff Tristan!!!!
